Private Jewelry Lessons and Consultation:

Paloma’s Jewelry is pleased to offer private jewelry lessons. Instructions are offered by Milton Penafiel, company’s CEO, professional jeweler with over thirty years of experience in the jewelry industry. These lessons are specially designed for students and professionals who want to learn more and/or are looking to implement alternate ways to make their own pieces from scratch. Private instruction courses begin with an initial consultation to evaluate a student’s skill and goals. Projects based on student choice/goals. A 50% deposit is required in advance for course reservation. The remaining 50% is required before beginning the course. Custom Jewelry Design:

We begin every design with a conversation. We’ll work together with you to develop a unique design that reflects your vision and budget. If the piece is to be cast, we then create a wax or master model. Once the design has been approved, the model is then set for casting. For the final stage of the production process we ensure quality has been met to customer’s expectations. Note: Before we start the job, we generally require at least 50% deposit of the estimated price of custom work. Most projects are in process for 2 to 3 weeks from consultation to completion.

Laser Engraving:

With laser engraving, tools are computer-controlled, the layout is mathematically calculated, and the lines that are created are sharp, smooth, and permanent. We’ll be happy to personalize your favorite piece with your own text. We can laser engrave any phrase or word of your choice onto almost any type of material including gold, platinum, silver, brass and stainless steel.

We offer pendant necklace, ring, bracelet and bangle custom engraving. We also do laser engraving on wedding bands. We can personalize the inner or outer side of the band to add a special inscription. We do custom engraving on spoons as well! High quality and permanent laser mark engraving that is made to last!

Gold, Silver and Platinum Repairs:

We offer complete rebuilding of worn or damaged of almost any jewelry piece from rings to necklaces, bangles, bracelets and earrings. We only work on gold, platinum, and silver jewelry. All of our jewelry services begin with an initial consultation and inspection of your piece and includes a free estimate. Each piece is handled with the utmost respect and care. Depending on the complexion, most repairs are completed within 3 to 5 business days.

Gold Plating in 14k, 18k, 22k:

We offer gold plating on brass, silver and gold in an assortment of colors including 14K, 18K, 22K, green gold and sunshine.

White and Black Rhodium:

Rhodium plating is generally used to coat items on silver-hued metals, such as white gold, palladium or silver, as it ensures these pieces retain a bright and brilliant shine. Rhodium is especially recommended for jewelry since the coating is hypoallergenic and resists tarnishing. Rhodium plating is a complex process that involves electricity, ultrasonic cleaner, and acid baths. Though rhodium plating is relatively durable, it is not a permanent process—the pieces should be re-plated occasionally.
